Last Thursday night, we were thrilled to present to the Marquette University College Republicans. Then, on Saturday morning, a few hours to the west, I spoke to conservatives from Jackson and Monroe Counties at the American Legion Hall near Fort McCoy. Two straight presentations that yielded more than a half hour of great questions.

A common theme was how to address and reform our election rules after two straight elections in which 38% of Americans believed the President was not legitimately elected. Not everyone agreed with every proposal, as we talked about a wide range of topics ranging from Voter ID to Final Five. We also discussed Utah's system, which provides mail-in ballot integrity compared to Nevada's system which does not. Attendees also brought up additional issues like outside money flooding local races, big media acting in conjunction with campaigns, and China's growing influence. This is why we like going on these listening tours and will continue to do the same in Indiana and New York.
